Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PackEdge ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

PackEdge is a license management and distribution platform for WordPress plugins and software. We provide services including license validation, release management, analytics, and payment processing integrations.

Account Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Violate any intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, spyware, or harmful software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Payment Terms

Pricing

Our pricing is fixed monthly with no revenue share. We offer a free tier and paid plans (Pro and Enterprise). Pricing details are available on our website and may change with 30 days' notice.

Payment Processing

We integrate with Merchant of Record services (LemonSqueezy, Polar) and Stripe. Your payments are processed directly by these services-we never touch your money. You are responsible for setting up and maintaining your payment processor accounts.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees. If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your account.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day free trial for your first product. Refunds for paid subscriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PackEdge and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your products, licenses, and customer data. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide the Service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account deletion features. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PACKEDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PackEdge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law
